Problems with Emby Server Update 4.4.1.0

Hi Emby Team

I have a weird problem.  I noticed that yesterday by Emby Server was upgraded to v4.4.1.0 at around 12pm (see screenshots) and I lost all my artwork (see screenshots) and my Library Update (scan library) has been running for around 12 hours and hardly moved.  The library scan is ticking over like "90.7%" - then 30 minutes goes by and the reads "90.8%" etc

The server was working perfectly until this update.  See the screen shot (file 3) where I lost all my library details.

Can anyone please help?

Thanks Rob

You would also need to post a server log, but I would guess the library was removed and is being re-added.

How could "the library be removed and re-added"?

How do I add a server log?

Thanks

Hard to say as everyone's setup is different.

Click the More Reply Options button and attach the log.

Sorry dont understand "everyone's setup is different"....I have libraries that worked, I had a system that functioned perfectly....along came 4.4.1.0 and my libraries take a month of Sunday's to rebuild.  Surely this isn't 'unique' to me?

Cheers Rob

This happens to some setups for some reason with almost every update.  Why it happens can be different in every case.  But so far it is unique to just you.

That seems vague....

Is there any way to stop updates that break systems??  Surely if I have a perfectly working system, It should continue to work with any update?  I've been using Emby for around 8 years and never had a rebuild that took this long.

Are you sure where isnt something wrong with 4.4.1.0?

Besides not updating, no.  If you have been using Emby for 8 years then you should have seen this issue happen numerous time with updates as everyone else has.  This happened between 3 and 4.  Total library rebuilds.

You have to provide logs to go with my guess.
