naeyaert 8 Posted April 4, 2020 Posted April 4, 2020 (edited) Hi Emby Team I have a weird problem. I noticed that yesterday by Emby Server was upgraded to v4.4.1.0 at around 12pm (see screenshots) and I lost all my artwork (see screenshots) and my Library Update (scan library) has been running for around 12 hours and hardly moved. The library scan is ticking over like "90.7%" - then 30 minutes goes by and the reads "90.8%" etc The server was working perfectly until this update. See the screen shot (file 3) where I lost all my library details. Can anyone please help? Thanks Rob Edited April 4, 2020 by naeyaert
naeyaert 8 Posted April 4, 2020 Author Posted April 4, 2020 Hi, did you forget to attach the screenshots? Sorry I did attach them but then decided to edit them to obscure a few details etc....cheers
Happy2Play 9229 Posted April 4, 2020 Posted April 4, 2020 You would also need to post a server log, but I would guess the library was removed and is being re-added.

Sorry dont understand "everyone's setup is different"....I have libraries that worked, I had a system that functioned perfectly....along came 4.4.1.0 and my libraries take a month of Sunday's to rebuild. Surely this isn't 'unique' to me? Cheers Rob 1

naeyaert 8 Posted April 4, 2020 Author Posted April 4, 2020 This happens to some setups for some reason with almost every update. Why it happens can be different in every case. But so far it is unique to just you. That seems vague.... Is there any way to stop updates that break systems?? Surely if I have a perfectly working system, It should continue to work with any update? I've been using Emby for around 8 years and never had a rebuild that took this long. Are you sure where isnt something wrong with 4.4.1.0?
FrostByte 5207 Posted April 4, 2020 Posted April 4, 2020 Similar problem here https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/84609-98-of-my-movie-metadata-wiped-most-of-library-being-re-added-as-if-it-were-new-any-idea-what-happened/ 2

If you have been using Emby for 8 years then you should have seen this issue happen numerous time with updates as everyone else has. This happened between 3 and 4. Total library rebuilds. You have to provide logs to go with my guess. 1
NANO SHELL 13 Posted April 5, 2020 Posted April 5, 2020 (edited) I also had this issue happen after update embyserver.txt ffmpeg-remux-39502e3c-1a10-44d0-ad14-678effd5d603_1.txt Edited April 5, 2020 by NANO SHELL
