Ronstang 202 Posted October 31, 2020 Share Posted October 31, 2020 Halloween theme works fine for me, showed up automatically a few days back when I went to watch a movie.....but this was on my Firestick 4K. I got the howling as I opened Emby, orange accents and buttons and suggestions on what to watch Halloween related from my collection. It's nice, if it didn't work that would be fine but it's a nice touch. My only suggestion for a theme like this is to have it all month so I can enjoy it longer. Every TV station has Halloween all month long so why can't we? (It's my favorite holiday....even though it's not actually a holiday) 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It would be annoying to have a howling wolf all the time. I would never use the web app to watch content because using the computer itself is clunky and requires me to watch in the room the computer is in. Paul Please tell that to my users who call to complaint that something is wrong with Emby. And for the record Halloween is not an international holiday, meaning many users will not make the connection when Emby suddenly starts howling at them. I was waiting for this to happen and cranked up the volume. As the cat started behind the TV I entered Emby and let me tell you what, Flash has nothing on this cat. A few years ago I noticed them and my users really enjoyed them and I recall having seen a setting for it somewhere. Now when I check my Emby Server I can't find anywhere to turn them on or off. At least no setting that says seasonal.. or holiday... When I check my ChromeCast 4k Android TV or FireStick Max 4k there's no such settings. I'm on the latest stable portable x64 build. Ronstang 202 Posted November 23, 2022 Share Posted November 23, 2022 I'm not sure about app specifics as I use only GoogleTV and Firesticks but go to the settings icon, mine is at the top right corner before the clock.....then go to "General Display"...then "Enable Seasonal Themes" Now if you want the Halloween or Holiday theme for longer than emby automatically uses it when selected then you can simply select the seasonal theme you want from under themes. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
