Hi folks,

Before I go into too much detail, perhaps I should start with a short and quick question: on the Samsung Smart TV app for Emby are you able to change the Home Screen layout when it is in 'Horizontal' format/mode?

My Samsung is a UA55HU8500 running Emby v0.122 "(updated 2018-10-11)". I'm pretty sure this is an Orsay based TV.

Kind regards,

Dodgy Bob

Go to Settings

Home Screen

Change Tv mode to horizontal/verticle

Hey FrostByte,

Yep, done that. Specifically though, can the Horizontal format/mode be changed?

For example, I have all Home Screen Sections set to "None", but in Horizontal mode everything is still there on the actual Home Screen.

Perhaps I'm not explaining myself clearly enough - sorry.

So If I have the Home Screen set to Vertical and all Home Screen Sections set to "None", then nothing shows up on the actual Home Screen ... well, the bare minimum does.

If I have the Home Screen set to Horizontal and all Home Screen Sections set to "None", then everything is still there ... but I don't want it to be.

Basically, I'd like to have the Horizontal Home Screen and the "Up Next" section, but that is all. I don't want all of the other fluff!

Sorry, is that better explained?

Kind regards,

Dodgy Bob.

Hi, no, the horizontal home screen does not have as much configuration as the vertical  home screen.

Doh!

OK, well that answers that then...

Is there anything on the horizon to allow some configuration to the Horizontal Home Screen perchance?

Well not immediately but we'll always adjust based on feedback. I would suggest opening a feature request topic.

Nice! I'll do that.

Thanks Luke   :D
