hstamas 172 Posted July 29, 2019 Posted July 29, 2019 Sometimes when searching for a movie to watch I will set numerous filter criteria (Unplayed - Action - 2014 - PG13) for example. After Ive found what Im looking for its sort of cumbersome to have to go back in and unselect all the above individually. Any chance we can get a "clear all" button of some sort to get you back to viewing your entire library unfiltered? Plex does this and its very convenient. Thanks! 10 8
atomicmoon 151 Posted April 13, 2020 Posted April 13, 2020 I'd like to also throw my hat in for this request to easily remove all filters. Sent from my Pixel 3a XL using Tapatalk
allineedis 18 Posted August 8, 2020 Posted August 8, 2020 +1 was searching for this and ended up here. Would be great to have this option.
Luke 40114 Posted August 8, 2020 Posted August 8, 2020 Yes this is something that we need to add. Thanks for the feedback.
hstamas 172 Posted April 30, 2021 Author Posted April 30, 2021 Any movement on this request? Would be really helpful in searches.
Luke 40114 Posted April 30, 2021 Posted April 30, 2021 It will be in the upcoming 4.6 release. Thanks.

neik 870 Posted May 16, 2021 Posted May 16, 2021 Can anyone give me a hint to where I find that "clear all" button? I can't find it anywhere...

neik 870 Posted May 16, 2021 Posted May 16, 2021 Then why the heck does Luke say it's in 4.6? Now I'm confused... @Luke, what was this post of yours (the one marked as solution in this topic) referring to if the "clear all" button isn't implemented yet? Happy2Play 9446 Posted May 21, 2021 Posted May 21, 2021 It is sort of there in 4.6 but only in conditions that remove all items.
neik 870 Posted May 22, 2021 Posted May 22, 2021 It might be there in some edge cases but it definitely isn't there as a user would expect it. A dev saying it is in 4.6 and then not seeing it there isn't really satisfactory from a user point of view. So, if I understand your screenshot correctly then we have a clear button if the selected filters are not applicable. Question: Who the hell filters to end up with no results? (apart from testing) The real use-case is having multiple filter criteria that are applicable and show results. Just my 2 cents though...
Spaceboy 2565 Posted May 22, 2021 Posted May 22, 2021 yeah the clear filters button that H2P shows needs to always be available
steveblair 13 Posted December 1, 2021 Posted December 1, 2021 Just thought I'd jump in to add my support for a "Clear Filters" button on ANY screen that is currently filtered.
Happy2Play 9446 Posted March 20, 2022 Posted March 20, 2022 Can we get this in the header for filters. Or another way to reset filters as a lot of these check/uncheck filter options can be tedious. 2 1
tomnjerry74 97 Posted July 29, 2022 Posted July 29, 2022 Just had a situation (using 4.7.5.0) where a "Clear All" filter option would have been nice. Was filtering a music library by a bunch of years and it was mildly tedious to have to uncheck everything again after I was finished..

The multi-select lists will have a new Select None button at the bottom starting in the upcoming 4.7.6 release. 2

Roodee 38 Posted October 2, 2022 Posted October 2, 2022 I am very much for this! I have trouble finding the option to clear the filters. I've illustrated my idea before checking if it was already here, so here it goes: Thanks! 2
