geno27 9 Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 I am running the latest server Version 3.0.5231.40980 with the new DLNA Server. I tried streaming to my PS3 and while the MB server shows up in the menu, there is nothing but an error message when I select it. It specifically says "there are no titles", and a "DLNA Protocol error (7522)" shows up. Both my PC and Plex have no issue connecting through DLNA. I have been using Plex up until now but was excited to try MB. I have a attached the resulting log file after selecting the MB server icon. Has anyone else successfully connected through PS3? Is there something in the PS3 profile that can be adjusted? Thanks. log.txt
kingy444 111 Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 I am also having the exact issue on my PS3. Please note I have also posted here http://mediabrowser.tv/community/index.php?/topic/6857-most-devices-cant-see-dlna-server/ with information and testing on all available devices.
geno27 9 Posted April 30, 2014 Author Posted April 30, 2014 i would need to see the whole log, thanks. Here is a full log
zamzing 0 Posted May 2, 2014 Posted May 2, 2014 I also have this issue. Running MB3 version 3.0.5234.17867 Linux server on Ubuntu 12.04. In addition, the PS3 will only see MB3 if I turn on "Blast Alive Messages" and set the timer to 30 seconds or less. Note that the PS3 can use Plex and UMS servers from the same machine, so it is not a network issue.
Luke 38801 Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 it there someone here who is comfortable debugging http requests with fiddler and can compare to something like UMS to see what we're doing wrong? Unfortunately these kinds of issues are device specific so we need someone with a ps3. thanks.
7illusions 1249 Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 I got one. Won't be able to debug until Sunday or Monday though 1
geno27 9 Posted May 30, 2014 Author Posted May 30, 2014 Wondering if there was any update on this topic? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Smaky 131 Posted May 30, 2014 Posted May 30, 2014 How can I help? I have a PS3, Samsung TV´s and Sonos equipment... I can help out. I just need some coaching in debugging (it´s been some time since I did serious programming... but I know the ropes).
7illusions 1249 Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 We're working on it. We'll try to fix it as soon as possible. 1
dcorsus 1 Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 I think there is an issue with the implementation of renewing UPNP Service subscribtions. I can properly SUBSCRIBE to the contentdirectory service but when I try to send a renew (SUBSCRIBE with headers SID and TIMEOUT) before the timeout runs out, I receive an error. The SID MUST have the uuid:xxxxxxxxx syntax which is what was received properly in the SID header from the original SUBSCRIBE action. However the renews seem to only work when the uuid: is removed, which is against the standard. So the symptoms you will see, is that the MediaBrowser UPNP/DLNA server is discovered by UPNP/DLNA controllers, but soon thereafter it will disappear or error (try it with Windows Media Player if you like) Dirk 1

randomizer 2 Posted June 28, 2014 Posted June 28, 2014 (edited) Running MB 3.0.5289.18702 here with a PS3 running both v4.55 and v4.60 firmware (just updated tonight). No content in Videos, Music or Pictures. Server log is attached. DLNA debug was enabled, normal debug logging was not (didn't realise until afterwards). Let me know if you need another log with the normal debug logging enabled. server-63539581546 - Copy.txt Edited June 28, 2014 by randomizer

latinumking 7 Posted February 25, 2018 Posted February 25, 2018 I just wanted to reuse my PS3 for emby playback, I also get the non content from the dnla server. Then I tried to use the web browser to open emby there, no luck, I enter the site and want to enter my credentials, but only a black list is showing up, no input is possible. On ps4 it is working to play by web browser. Cheers Lati Gesendet von meinem MI MAX 2 mit Tapatalk
