Library folders in my admin panel don't have images anymore  since a while.

So i've tried to add them manually, however when i click on "Edit Images", the loading icon appear (And never fade-out) but the popup for editing the images is never shown.
The only library with an image is the "Auto generated library" called Collection créated by the plugin Auto Box Set. When i clic on "Edit Images" for this item the popup appear as expected.

The only error i've managed to found is displayed in the browser console when i click an the menu item "Edit Images".

Uncaught (in promise) Error: null itemId
    at ApiClient.getItem (apiclient.js?v=3.5.2.0:1)
    at imageeditor.js?v=3.5.2.0:1
    at Object.execCb (alameda.js?v=3.5.2.0:1)
    at defineModule (alameda.js?v=3.5.2.0:1)
    at Object.depFinished (alameda.js?v=3.5.2.0:1)
    at alameda.js?v=3.5.2.0:1

Tested on Chrome 69 and firefox 62.

What version of the server are you using?

Posted

You can always manually assign them an image.

When i change the library image manually, it shows the old photo in the server but when i go to the app on my android tv, it shows the correct photo. Any ideas?

I restarted emby server and now its fine.

No Luke, like i've said i cannot assign one manually, the popup allowing me to do than never show up. The UI is stuck with the loading icon.

Why do you feel that you can't assign one? How exactly are you trying to to that?

I don't know what you hear by "Manually" ?

  • 1. Click on the "3 dots" to show the menu
  • 2. Cilck on the second menu item called "Edit Images"
  • ~3. UI Show a loading icon that never disapear
  • End of story ...  :)

Images attached for more clarity ;-)

Here they are, but there is no error whatsoever on the server side. Only in the browser console.
I've restarted the server to provide you a clean log and I've enabled the debugging option.

I get the same error in 3.5.3.0. Nothing in the logs with regard to the Javascript error, it's only on the front-end that any error shows.

Please try this again with the next release of Emby Server. Thanks !
