Your AP is hard wired :) And IGMP Snooping has no adverse effects otherwise. Hope it helps.

Ha! Yeah. Thanks, I'll definitely give it a whirl.

Sadly, that hasn't resolve the issue. EBR had said it has to do with the sever. So we'll see. @@ebr I just sent a log (6:30pm), so you could take another look. This is from the beta app, on the shield. This really needs to get resolved.

From the app standpoint, there is simply a disruption in the stream:

09-28 18:28:19.641 30177 30177 D EventLogger: state [41.84, 34.82, window=0, period=0, true, READY]

Damn! That could be caused by a range of things. I don't think it's the server, because this only happens on my Android TV devices. Having said that, those are the only devices that require a remux to play. So maybe the answer lies, there? Are there any improvements in the beta server that might affect this? I haven't tested that.

Just an FYI that I am having the same issues with Live TV.  The end result is for me to go Directplay on Live TV and the problem disappears.  I miss the DVR functionality, but I willing to accept that if I don't get the pauses.

My experience here is the same or similar as others.  If I switch to MPV, the problem goes away but I don't like the sound quality change.  If I am using Exoplayer with Remuxing, the problem comes back.

I have two Nvidia Shields and they are hard wired.  My Emby server is on a Core I7 2600K with a 256GB SSD and a 2TB WD Black drive and 8GB of RAM and that is hard wired as well.

I have not tried the beta yet, but I would be willing to send in some logs if it would help the team.  Let me know if you want more logs.

Hi.  You can send a log if you wish.  I expect it will look just like the one above.  When running the stream through ffmpeg, something is slowing it down.

Do the pauses go away if you lower the quality setting?

I haven't tried lowering the quality setting as of yet.  I really have no interest in doing that at this time because I want to retain the quality that I have.  Especially since I can go Directplay without a problem.  I will try changing the quality and I will also send a log when I get back from vacation next week.
