Oracle 84 Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 Hey, I've seen others do this, so it has to be possible. Looking to sort TV shows into genre subfolders (i.e. Action, Reality, ETC) on the Emby TV Homescreen Display. They are already sorted by genre in my file system. Any help is appreciated & I thank you for it. - I forget what my name is.
Happy2Play 9230 Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 Well that would be creating a library for each genre.
Oracle 84 Posted August 1, 2018 Author Posted August 1, 2018 And that would appear inside the "TV Series" folder that is already pre-existing on my home screen?
Oracle 84 Posted August 1, 2018 Author Posted August 1, 2018 Hey again (I post way too much lol), Looking to create a subfolder amongst the genre folders that displays all of my TV content in the folder, but doesn't display it on the same page as the genre folders. My wife wants to be able to view all of the shows at one time, but I want to keep it so it's all sorted. #TryingToAccommodate! Is there a way to do this? Picture attached:

Oracle 84 Posted August 1, 2018 Author Posted August 1, 2018 (edited) Yes, it does. However, it also resides in the action folder, so it can appear in there and the All folder, but then I run into the problem of duplicate episodes and the poster thumbnail still appears on the main page. EDIT: Poster goes away, still duplicate episodes. Not sure if that would just be fixed with a path redirection or what. Does 0-1-1 reside in the All folder? Edited August 1, 2018 by SPRINKLES-PC
Solution Oracle 84 Posted August 1, 2018 Author Solution Posted August 1, 2018 (edited) Found a way around this, a bit impractical but: I essentially made empty copies of each of the folders in my TV file system & put them under an "All" library which I then added in addition to the Genre libraries. Took a while to figure it all out and configure it all, but it does what I wanted it to do. Thanks for the assistance, folks. @Luke Edited August 1, 2018 by SPRINKLES-PC
