fighuass 1
When I press on a video, it shows an information screen with media info, a thumbnail, and play/download/delete buttons. Is there a way to skip or bypass this screen and just play the video by pressing on it?
Luke 37064
Hi, what screen are you on? Most screens should have a little play icon on top of the poster, in the lower right.
fighuass 1
I'm on a 10.1" tablet. Now that you mention it, I can see the small play icon on the start page in the Emby app, but I don't see it when I go into folders in my libraries. There's a small 3 dot icon there instead of a play button.
Luke 37064
Did you try clicking the 3-dot button?
fighuass 1
Yes, there is a play option there, which is good enough, but is there a way to make it just show a play icon instead of the 3-dot button? It's fine as-is, but that would be a little handier.
Luke 37064
It's still pretty quick though, no? There are a lot of people who like having quick access to those functions behind the menu.
fighuass 1
Sure, the thread can be closed.
Luke 37064
Barring a setting there's just no way to make everyone happy with this sort of thing. Whichever route we choose, there will be one camp of users that wants it the other way.
