here are my log file.

This particular log doesn't have any evidence of any mass deletions taking place. Do you have an earlier one from when that might have happened?

sorry, it was the wrong log, sry.

here is the right one.

Thanks. I think I may have found the cause of this. I will have a beta release up later tonight with the change. Can you please try that? thanks.

Write when you will have it ready, i install it in the morning and let run a library scan.

It is now 0:00 a.m. here in germany and i sleep a little bit   ;)

When i get up at 6:00 i look if you post something new here.

Update:

Both aforementioned views are now listing content, although 'New and Upcoming Movies on Dvd & Blu-ray' seems remarkably thin with only 10 releases listed, and none from 2018.

Thanks!

My scan just finished & all my libraries have been restored. If I pass on this beta for now, what are the odds of this metadata 'purge' happening again?

Difficult to say because i don't know for sure yet that my theory is right.

` Fair enough. Will stay tuned. v3.3.0.3-beta?

I have the exact same issue.  My libraries are missing all their data.  I've tried removing one and readding it, and nothing came back.

Interesting my "optional" share paths have also all disappeared from my media folders.

Looking at them, this might be the more interesting one to you.

For some reason it defaulted my libraries to the programdata folder instead of to /mnt/media (which is what's displayed in the UI).

This is the earliest I have.  It's the first log after upgrading to 3.3.0.  I thought I posted it earlier, but apparently not.  The attach functionality is a _two step_ process.  :-p

Ok, your issue is different from the rest of this topic. I think what happened to you is you originally installed using our older install package based on opensuse. And then you installed our newer install package over the top of that. How long ago did you first install?

Ummmm....back when it was still Mediabrowser.

Am I looking at a total loss here or any chance for salvaging?

edit:

Looks like I had the day off after Thanksgiving in 2014...

cat /var/log/apt/history.log | grep -B 1 mediabrowser

Start-Date: 2014-11-28  14:10:29
Commandline: apt-get install mediabrowser

Media scan is still running with 3.3.0.2.

Will report back when it is finished.

It tooks a lot longer with 3.3.0.2 as with 3.3.0.0.

If the library was removed then it will take a while because it is essentially re-importing everything.
