Gaspar Filmes 8 Posted September 8, 2017 Posted September 8, 2017 Good morning everyone! I'm having a problem that happens when it comes near the end of each episode, causing it to skip to the next without ever having come to an end. (for example, the episode lasts 1h, when it reaches 45 ~ 50min, it always skips to the next episode on that margin), the most recent log attached.

Gaspar Filmes 8 Posted September 10, 2017 Author Posted September 10, 2017 Can you confirm that the episode or movie is marked as Watched after the playback ends abruptly? Yes I confirm! I tested watching the first season of The Big Bang Theory and the episodes were marked in the corner as watched. ty
bfir3 117 Posted September 13, 2017 Posted September 13, 2017 Yes I confirm! I tested watching the first season of The Big Bang Theory and the episodes were marked in the corner as watched. ty Okay, so we know that all of us are experiencing the same symptoms. Media playback ends abruptly before the end of the media has been reached. And after the playback ends prematurely, the media is incorrectly marked as watched. Despite Emby knowing the current time position of the player and also knowing the full runtime of the media, it still makes this glaring error. Maybe the playback bug is not easy to solve, but I would have to imagine that the incorrect marking of Watched bug should be very easily resolvable: Don't mark a media item as watched ever unless the current playback position when playback ends is equal to or exceeds the percentage specified in the server config.

Solution Luke 39631 Posted September 18, 2017 Solution Posted September 18, 2017 Ok, please try again with the next release of Emby Server, thanks ! 1
bfir3 117 Posted September 19, 2017 Posted September 19, 2017 Ok, please try again with the next release of Emby Server, thanks ! Any changes coming down the line that you think could resolve this issue? I see you post this a lot without any explanation so it feels like it might be posted to placate people while there are no new changes that actively target this issue. It's been 3 or 4 separate server versions that you've recommended people upgrade to in hopes that the issue would be resolved but none of them resolved it.
