jellelle 3 Posted July 31, 2017 Posted July 31, 2017 (edited) Hi, I've set up my Emby-server with "HTTPS using reverse proxy" using the "Setting up SSL for Emby (WIP)" guide. My question is: How can I switch between my LAN IP-address 192.168.1.20:8096 if I'm at home and my https: // emby.domainname.com:443 address if I'm on the road (using the Android-app)? Manually adding the other address for the same server doesn't seem to work? Thanks! Edited July 31, 2017 by jellelle
Solution Luke 40018 Posted July 31, 2017 Solution Posted July 31, 2017 hi, you don't have to do this manually. when you sign in the app will always try to connect to the in-home address, and if that fails, it will automatically switch to the remote address. 1

jellelle 3 Posted August 1, 2017 Author Posted August 1, 2017 Moto G4 / Android 7.0 Happens when I log out as current user, and press on 'change server'.
BAlGaInTl 279 Posted August 1, 2017 Posted August 1, 2017 I saw that same screen a couple of days ago when providing tech support to the wife who was traveling and wanted to connect to our server. I'm using Lineage OS (7.1.2) on a OnePlus One and I'm on the beta.
BAlGaInTl 279 Posted August 1, 2017 Posted August 1, 2017 I tried to recreate it today and wasn't able to. Emby for Android v 2.9.43
