sveyland1 0
I am trying to open Emby Theater and it will not load. I get just a black screen. I tried reinstalling and no change. It was working last night but now it is not working. What additional information about this error can I provide?
FrostByte 5057
Is it the same as this? https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/46832-w10-creator-black-screen/
sveyland1 0
I don't think so because I was last using it less than 24 hours ago and that seems to be a problem that people had as of over a week ago. And if I understand correctly that is a problem on Windows 10 and I am running Windows 7. When I open Emby Theater and look at the Task Manager I see one instance of Emby Theater and 3 instances of Electron, but none of them have any movement in regards to memory usage. ttgapers 94
Try double-clicking the black screen. Appears to be the same issue, different OS now.
Luke 37214
Try double-clicking the black screen. Appears to be the same issue, different OS now. Can you try this version here? https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/46763-theater-mpv-test/ Thanks !
ttgapers 94
I did try. Emby loads now, any video I attempt to play is a black screen using the MPV version. All vids are encoded the same. They all play in Emby Theater in Windows Store. ET for Win reg is the black screen on load, double-click gains UI, and double-click again for full screen. Only started a couple weeks now.
