Guest asrequested
@ very nice setup. i need to get a KVM for mine. Something thats been on the list for ages. I decided to use a console instead of IPMI. Takes up less space, as it folds to 1U. It works, perfectly. Edited June 21, 2017 by Doofus
Dizzy49 94
@Doofus Thanks, I added that to my next shopping trip at Amazon! I tried a 1u and 2u shelf, and had the same sag issue. I use RDP to access my server. It also has IPMI which is quite nice. There is a rare occassion that it gets stuck booting and I need to hook up a monitor to see what's going on, but that's maybe once every 6 months. Guest asrequested
A Washing Machine? Really? Nooooo... It can't be. It would need to be bigger, surely?

Guest asrequested
I just installed my new Unifi 10G switch. I replaced the Quanta LB6M. This freed up a 1U space, and I was then able to mount my reconstructed TV tuners. I've ordered a Unifi PoE switch, that will be replacing the D-Link Edited September 16, 2017 by Doofus
iamspartacus 40
Here's my "new" Emby setup migrated from Plex. There's more on there than just Emby obviously . Pic is about a year old, I've since switched from DAC's to optics on the 10Gb switch. Maybe I'll take a new udpated pic when my condo renovation is complete in a month.
mgworek 121
Its still a work in progress but finally started this weekend. Its still a mess and I need to get the 1u cable management things to clean it up. Top panel and the amp are whole house audio. Middle panel is living room home theater. it has open slots to upgrade to 7.1 sound and also upgrading to 6 from 4 zones on the house audio. When I can make my unraid server smaller, the 2nd half will have a UPS, network patch panel and my unifi switch. First picture is before and others are now.
Guest asrequested
You got that tidied up, a bit I envy you the fun you're having while upgrading. I've hit the point of diminishing returns. I keep trying to think of ways to improve performance.
