I want to have a separate location/folder for all my subtitles for my movies and TV shows. Whats the best way to go about that?

Hi, we don't currently have a way to do this, but every now and then it gets asked for so it's certainly a possibility for the future.

A very good reason for implementing this would be to help those who use rar2fs to transparently browse collection consisting of rar contents. That currently works really well, except when it comes to subtitles, since the rar-filesystem is read only and the subtitles can't be written to the individual media locations.

A specific subtitles-folder would solve this nicely.

edit: Actually, with the right permissions rar2fs is able to allow writes. Just make sure to start rar2fs with the correct user (emby) for example and it will have read and write permissions to make this work.
