Blueeyiz702 220 Posted November 3, 2016 Posted November 3, 2016 So according to Google you can't play animated movie posters or gifs when uploaded to your Google Drive Google and GIFs: You Can Upload But Ye Shall Not Animate Can't you just click them and view them in pop up viewer?
Blueeyiz702 220 Posted November 4, 2016 Author Posted November 4, 2016 So there a setting,convert uploaded files to Google doc formats. Before this change they wouldn't play in pop up viewer. So i unchecked it went back and tried again and now they play in pop up viewer. Very interesting wish they just would change Google drive to play gifs or as accepted file format.
