ivoidwarranties 15 Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 (edited) Anyone up for the challenge of trying to get this to work on a Raspberry Pi 3 and Windows 10 IoT Edited September 14, 2016 by ivoidwarranties 4
jhoff80 91 Posted September 17, 2016 Posted September 17, 2016 I'm honestly not sure that it needs any work to be done. Theoretically, it should 'just work'. ... Except Windows 10 IoT doesn't have Store access, or a Start menu for that matter, and so you'd have to have the appx package to deploy. (I haven't tried this myself though.)
Happy2Play 9142 Posted September 17, 2016 Posted September 17, 2016 Why not install the standalone version? http://emby.media/emby-theater.html
jhoff80 91 Posted September 17, 2016 Posted September 17, 2016 W10 IoT edition is a scaled down version for on embedded devices such as the ARM-based Raspberry Pi 3. You can't run any non-UWP programs on it, and it requires deploying the appx manually. Honestly, you're better off with Linux, Kodi, and the Emby addon if you want to use a Pi.

Or run it through the browser
Luke 38842 Posted January 1, 2017 Posted January 1, 2017 Emby Theater for Linux and Raspberry Pi are currently in testing. You can learn more about them here: Linux: https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/42868-emby-theater-for-linux/ Raspberry Pi: https://emby.media/community/index.php?/forum/169-raspberry-pi/ Enjoy.
R40 0 Posted February 14, 2017 Posted February 14, 2017 Is it possible to download the appx somewhere on the site? Like to test it on Windows 10 IoT
