Music section that can separate albums by media type and coverart that would represent primary formats CD, SACD, HDCD, Vinyl, Tape.

Better handling of Boxsets example Doors Perseption is a collection of all the doors albums.

I setup the boxset like this

Music\Doors Perception\Discno\trackno - title.ext

I did the correct embedded and folder.jpg art work for all the albums, Waiting for the Sun, Strange Days, Morrison Hotel, Ect in each album folder.

And placed the of the boxset cover folder.jpg in the Doors Perception folder.

Emby only shows the first album cover and the songs as one big group

Thanks

No comments, isn't there any audiophiles using emby that rip high resolution vinyl?

Also double cd's don't display correct either Emby should be able to display sub menus disk 1, disk 2 under albums.

I think the trick to this would be for emby to read the disc total tag and treat greater then one with sub folders

Thanks

Hi, it does display disc menus. Are your audio files tagged with disc numbers?

I get the same results as Luke.  IIRC though my disc numbers don't have leading zeros.  Might be something to test as yours do.

Check the built-in web interface. i might not had added the disc number heading to emby theater yet. i'll review that for a future release.

yep the web interface shows correct with disk#

Luke I know this is not on this subject but does emby use a "protected path"?

I use a hdhomerun prime with the death WMC and I know it's only a matter of time

before copy freely will only be for public access crap.

Right now we support copy freely content. We will consider supporting DRM content if there is sufficient demand, but of course that will require us to license it and we may have to pass that cost on to those who need it.
