Photo Slideshow?

I couldn't find a way to make the Android TV app play a slideshow of photos in a directory.  Is there a way?  If not, I'd like this feature to be added.

It's since been implemented into the public release, but it gives you a heads-up.

 

Further enhancements are on @@ebr's list, so eventually it will get more functionality.

Pressing "Play" on your remote will launch you into a slide show that will transition among the photos in order starting from the one on which you pressed "Play". This photo slide show will have nice fade transitions and even has a full Ken Burns Effect. It is very similar to the standard screen saver on the Fire TV.

There's the problem. The Leelbox remote doesn't have a "play" button so what I'm asking for would be an alternative way to "play" directly from the screen. For example, pressing the "guide" button to open a menu along the bottom with play, rotate photo, zoom, and similar options.

 

Thread can probably be moved to feature requests.

How can I shuffle through all pictures in my photo library? I haven't found any option to do so on my Shield ATV with the latest beta app.
