Hi Folks,

1. Newbie here. Subject is self-explanatory...have tried the emby server install many times over last two nights EST.

Here is what I get every time with either Stable or Beta.Unluckily don't know how to access logs.

See the setup log file located at 'C:\Users\ADMINI~1\AppData\Local\Temp\1\VSD674.tmp\install.log' for more information."

2. What I am attempting:

For some reason the HTTP server access from Kodi 15.2 (default or Arch) doesn't seem to work. Can access the site, but the buttons don't work, except  the Remote sever shutdown button, which, ironically, is what I don't want !

So I want to install emby server and Kodi add-on, and aim to use the set-up to access PseudoTV LIve and other streams on Kodi via PC browser access externally, away from home, without any plug-in or app, e.g., via Chrome browser as http://(Emby Server IP):8096

Happy2Play,

(Sorry for duplicate post. I was trying to include your successful answer to my problem, but don't

know how to delete above redundant post !)

Thanks ! Was able to solve the emby server install problem by disabling Win2012 IE ESC settings,

and running the cmd line script, per your link above. Must be the ESC security setting then.

1. REAL ISSUE.

However, this does not solve the problem of http access to an IPTV streaming Guide (Pseudo Live TV or iVue2).

I can http access the emby server, but how do I get to the Kodi screen (with the TV Guides installed there)?

I did install emby.server plugin on Kodi, then install the emby server itself, and switch off HTTP access from

Kodi-System-Settings-Webserver.

What I get via http:// (Emby IP Server IP):8096 is the emby screen itself.

Can I somehow install Pseudo Live TV (or iVue2 TV Guide) on emby directly? I looked at Pseudo TV

Live (remote access) Manager, and it says PTVL can integrate with Emby.

2. Smaller issue. The Emby App Install icon does not show up on the Win 2012 task bar when configured.

Instead I copied to task bar from the System sub-folder under Emby.

And clicking on the icon seems to do nothing. I have to bring up my Chrome browser, type localhost:8096, then

the tab appears and shows Emby Server running.
