Should be Emby-Server\metadata\views\channels.

Not sure on old installs.

Goal: To have Channels image appear in Emby for WMC similar to Movies  etc.

Action: Emby server- Dashboard-Library-Media Library- Add Library ( not sure of correct path)

Result: Image visible in Library

However image not visible in Emby for WMC

Similar in what way? Do you just want to customize the main tile image for the channels library?

"Similar" meaning that Movies, Music etc images are visible in Emby for WMC but Channels image is not.

The home screen shows the Channels image as well as movies, music etc. Movies, music etc. all appear in Library with the exception of Channels which I attempted to add. In Emby for WMC, movies, music etc all appear but not Channels.

Are you asking about the image or the library option itself?

Are you asking about the image or the library option itself?

Images for Movies etc. excluding Channels are visible on the home screen in Emby for WMC. I would like my selected image for channels to show also. My question is how can I achieve this? The undernoted is an extract from Emby for WMC home screen:

Okay, so you are just talking about the image.

That is your home screen?  You have the EHS turned off?  What theme?

I get the image in Chocolate on the EHS...

Yes that was my home screen.EHS is turned off. Chocolate theme.

I turned on EHS but there was still no image.

I would like to enquire what is the correct path to use to add the Channels image to the Library in the server as that image was not automatically added like movies, music etc.

You wouldn't add a library.  You would just go to that item on your home screen in the web client, right click it and select edit image.

I went to Channels on the web client home screen, right clicked it and selected edit image and the images were there. Primary, Thumb and Backdrop. However, no image appeared in Emby for WMC

Are you using Legacy Browsing mode in EMC?

Yes I am.

Turned off Legacy Browsing. Image now visible. However my specific background is no longer visible, only a black background. Is there a way to specify a background without enabling Legacy Browsing?

I'm really not sure.  Should be by editing with the web client the same way as the other images.

You should be able to achieve the organization you want now without using the Legacy option in EMC.

Thanks @@ebr. Will review to see if I can change the background.
