carguyshu 0 Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 any mkvs that i have that i have ripped with the 7.1 audio track won't play. when i click on the movie it just sits and stays there at 0 seconds. If i go into my task bar and right click on directvobsub and switch it to the 5.1 audio track it works fine. any idea how i can get the 7.1 track working?
ebr 15579 Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 I would check all your codec/splitter settings.
carguyshu 0 Posted September 30, 2015 Author Posted September 30, 2015 I'm using LAV audio decoder and splitter version 0.58.2 I'm not sure exactly sure what setting I'm needing to check or look at
Solution ebr 15579 Posted September 30, 2015 Solution Posted September 30, 2015 Look at the options surrounding mixing and/or specific audio codec or channel support. Also, if the 7.1 track is actually something like an Atmos track then it may need an updated codec to support it.
carguyshu 0 Posted October 1, 2015 Author Posted October 1, 2015 i updated my lav splitter and decoder and now everything is working
bshaf 4 Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 I actually have a very similar problem, but the provided answer didn't fix my issue. When I play an MKV via Emby my Haali splittler doesn't kick in nor does my Lav filter for high def audio. If I play the same movie just by double clicking it in file explorer everything works fine. Any ideas?
