Hi

 

I downloaded and install Emby Beta 3.0.5713.6 on my Windows 8.1 Pro x64 and i'm having the folowing issues:

 

1) When using Emby for android 2.4.8 (latest) when try to stream video to my device, the video keeps loading forever and don't play and

    I had to restart my phone and in my PC the ffmpeg.exe keeps runing using high memory rate until I restart Emby Srver.

 

2) So I downgrade to Emby 3.0.5675.1 and the video stream are ok, but when I try to play musics, the Emby for Android play wrong musics,

    i.e., I choose one music and Emby for Android play another music, and if I choose other music, Emby for Android start to paly the previous

    wrong music.

 

The only combination that works fine is Emby 3.0.5675.1 and Emby for Android 2.3.98.

 

Less bad that I had saved earlier versions of Emby for Android, otherwise I could no longer use Emby on my Android.

I hope that before making this official version of Emby Beta, you really test the Emby Server with Emby for Android, because once published the official version can not go back

Sure, but to do this, I have to install again the Beta Version, and now I´m using the Stable version.

I'm afraid to have problems if I reinstall the Beta version.

How can I help you without have problems ?

I'll work with you. We'd like to get the stable server release out, so better to go back to the beta and report whatever your issue is.

But these logs was already maden with the Emby Beta and the Android (2.4.8 _latest)

I dont understand whats happening.

i´m using the Beta server....

Why in the log appear 3.0.5675.1 ?

There is different path for the logs of the Beta version ?

There is different path for the logs of the Beta version ?

If I was in the Stable version the errors would not have happened

 

In the zip file there two servers logs

the correct is server-63576665053.txt refer to the Beta Server

I saw a new alpha release 3.0.5724 and I would like to know if the problems that I reported in this post were fixed,

because I'm afraid to update and continue with the same problems.
 

If I upgrade to the new version, is there any way to downgrade to version 3.0.5675.1?

The current release is not alpha - it is a full Release level server.  The only way we'll be sure if the issue is fixed is if you try it and tell us.

When the server updates, it creates a backup of the old version called "System.old".  If you upgrade and it doesn't work, you can shut down the server and then copy this folder back to "System".

I updated my Emby Server (today) to the full Release level server, but unfortunately are happening exactly the same problems as described in this post.
EXACTLY THE SAME
I had to downgrade the Emby Server for the stable version 3.05.675.1 and the Emby for Android to version 2.3.80, so that everything works as it should.

 

I hope that these problems are solved because as did a monthly subscription to have the sync feature and more and I paid for Emby for Android too.

 

Is there any estimate of when these problems will be solved?

Because I like to have my Emby Server updated.

I'm still not sure there is a problem to be honest, so at the moment I'm currently not doing anything for it. The logs don't show any evidence of a problem. I think it's possible you could see the same problem on both servers if you try enough times.

No. it's only happen with the new server. I tried several times with the new server and the old.

In the old server all works fine every time, even trying to play same movie many times.
