danmed 1
I store all my movies in genre folders and i'd love it if it was possible to automatically set the ONLY genre for each movie to be the same as the folder name it lives in.. EG.. Horror\Movie.mkv would have a SINGLE genre of Horror I know it's a big ask and probably a very singular instance.. but if anyone can think of a way to do this automatically, even as a scheduled once a day task to sort them out, it would be fantastic! Angelblue05 4130
I think in theory, but you'd have to really verify it.... is if you add your main genre folders as individual emby library folders. Then they would translate into user views with the Genre name. They would be imported as such in Kodi, if they are not mixed folders but Movies only or TV Show only. Maybe it might work..... For example, instead of TV, Netflix TV, you'd have your genre folder, both content type Movies, I hope this helps somehow Then you can split your user view in your user preferences in the web client.
