Zakal 3
@@Zakal Try to restart your server via the dashboard > server. It always seems to activate debug in logs. Okay, I restarted. Deleted both eps from uTorrent including torrent file and all data. Then rescanned the library. Then added tehm to utorrent again. Then rescanned again. Log is now attached. The problem re-occurred on both. server-63565474076.txt

Zakal 3
ok, the dev server has a fix. please try that out and report back. thanks. Okay, awesome. I installed the new dev release and did the following: 1. Added 4x01 and 4x02 of an existing show (i.e. I already have seasons 1-3 in MB) to uTorrent....manual rescan...both works, no errors. 2. I deleted the Community and Americans eps I added this morning (that had problems), and re-downloaded them....manual rescan...no errors. So the "new episode" problem seems like it might be fixed, so thats great. I'll keep an eye on it when i add new stuff over the next few days. Also, refreshing the Archer episodes that Refresh was breaking earlier today, now results in teh season and episode data being "put back"...but the name still displays funny, and no overview is being grabbed. primecut 19
Tested with 3 episodes and I can't reproduce the error anymore, so as far as i can tell it seems to be fixed.
inzombyac 69
I tested by replacing an episode file with a newer higher quality file. The dev release worked for me in that Emby has the metadata in the database (can see the data in dashboard). I still have an issue where the .xml and thumbnail are missing from the folder location when the library scan is complete. Have to manually refresh to recreate the files. Here's the log with debugging enabled: Cancel that. I had turned on the hidden files options in the metadata settings and didn't see the files. Dev works. Thanks Luke. doron 8
ok, the dev server has a fix. please try that out and report back. thanks. It looks much better. Metadata seems to be brought in fine for new episodes. Thank you. I still have a problem with four specific episodes (there might be others, I haven't checked exhaustively) that no matter what I do, do not get metadata. They are the four latest episodes of Mad Men, for some reason. Here's a log snippet from when I do a refresh. Tried to delete them and reintroduce. No joy. (btw these episodes now do get season#/ep#, but no name, overview or anything else). 2015-04-28 10:44:52.5333 Debug - HttpServer: HTTP POST http://localhost:8096/Items/f1060ad1c1726e63200de619d165116e/Refresh?Recursive=true&ImageRefreshMode=FullRefresh&MetadataRefreshMode=FullRefresh&ReplaceAllMetadata=true Ip: 127.0.0.1:52434. doron 8
Hope this is not a dead horse I'm beating - I still see the problem in some series, and it sticks with those series (and not others). Manifestation is slightly different than the original description I gave, but seems to be tightly related. Like in the example above, with Mad Men,- every new episode added gets into that "state". Its "name" is the file name, no overview or other metadata is populated. No amount of "refresh" in the metadata manager changes anything. It just stays that way, nothing I seem to be able to do. Any hope for that? Is there a "master reset" for that series I can do? Something else? (might be good to have a "Delete all metadata for this tree branch" kind of button)
