sedvideo 0 Posted April 2, 2015 Posted April 2, 2015 I'm confused. Trying to use the new Cloud Sync to Google Drive. I just became a supporting user, have the google drive sync tool installed, and don't see a sync option by any of my media on my server. Any thoughts?
Luke 39819 Posted April 2, 2015 Posted April 2, 2015 there should be sync buttons all over the place. check your user account to make sure its allowed sync accesss
sedvideo 0 Posted April 2, 2015 Author Posted April 2, 2015 ok. still not seeing them. do I see my user account in the dashboard?
Luke 39819 Posted April 2, 2015 Posted April 2, 2015 yes. server dashboard -> users -> click on your user. then see if the sync feature is enabled for your user.
Luke 39819 Posted April 2, 2015 Posted April 2, 2015 and make sure you're on the latest version of the server http://emby.media/community/index.php?/blog/1/entry-184-emby-server-305569-released/
sedvideo 0 Posted April 2, 2015 Author Posted April 2, 2015 got it. I found the box to check "allow sync", now I see Sync as an option. will attempt to sync something to Google Drive. Thanks
Luke 39819 Posted April 2, 2015 Posted April 2, 2015 Thanks. I will have to review and make sure it is enabled by default.
sedvideo 0 Posted April 2, 2015 Author Posted April 2, 2015 How long will the content be listed as "Queued"?
sedvideo 0 Posted April 2, 2015 Author Posted April 2, 2015 nevermind, it seems to be working fine. very cool tool. thanks
pmac 143 Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 Thanks. I will have to review and make sure it is enabled by default. I had an issue with this as well. I didn't notice the "Allow Sync" button until I read this thread. I'd suggest having it automatically enabled for anyone with "Allow this user to manage the server" enabled, or any other type of administrative access. I'm currently using Server v3.0.5582.1
