Angelblue05 4130
Version 1.1.44 Playback has been revamped a bit. Please let us know if you experience any issues by following this post: http://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/17599-how-to-report-a-problem/ New Stack method for multi parts, including trailers. This should correct issues with multi dvds, etc. You can now choose the percentage for mark as watched in the add-on settings > playback You can now disable Emby cinema mode per Kodi device, in the add-on settings > playback. This does not affect Emby server cinema mode settings. It is simply in place if you wish to have cinema mode enabled on your server, but don't wish to have it enabled for the current Kodi profile. Instead of presenting a dialog when direct play fails, fall to direct stream with a notification. Fix Play strm files regardless of playback method. Revise transcoding properties Fix studio names to display properly in Kodi. (requires local database reset to take effect) Fix DTS-HD MA display (requires local database reset to take effect) Fix for profiles that were leaving threads running after loading a new profile in Kodi. Angelblue05 4130
Version 1.1.48 We encountered a few issues in the last updates, which should be resolved in this build. Next version (1.1.49) will require you to reset your database, because we will have a few modifications to do in database. As a reminder, keep reporting issues by following this post: http://emby.media/co...port-a-problem/ New We now support Emby tags. You can use them to filter your Kodi playlists. They are instantly kept up to date if you modify them in your emby metadata manager. (requires local database reset to take effect) Artwork rework. This should speed up the initial sync a bit. Playback rework. This should affect trailers and additional parts. For dvd menus, the additional parts are the next item to play in the playlist. When finishing the first part, if it doesn't move to the next item due to a dvd menu, simply skip to the next item and it should start playing the additional parts. On initial sync the option to use direct paths will now be offered We are now respecting Emby "My Views" grouping settings (in the web client > user icon > settings > home screen settings). If your library comes up empty, reset your local database. Testing backdrop/fanart changes in emby to be reflected instantly in Kodi (make sure the item is not in focus) Fix Fix to the initial sync Fix the double mark as watched - this should correct the duplication issue with the Trakt server plugin, oops... Fixed the issue where the first item in a playlist would sometimes be skipped. Angelblue05 4130
Version 1.1.50 - Plain old regular update. The way we get user views from the server changed a bit. This update is to prevent channels from being picked up as mixed content and causing the syncing process between the server and kodi to fail. New Date added can now be updatedFix Ignore channels from the syncing process Fix error that would cause play to fail. Angelblue05 4130
Version 1.1.52 This version will force you to reset your database. This is necessary to get your userviews back on track. If you want to have the previous behavior where the add-on would sync your library sections individually, go to your emby dashboard > user icon(right) > settings > home screen settings > Make sure everything under "My Views" is unchecked. If your content is grouped under a main category under "My Views", it will now be respected in Kodi, in which case you may need to recreate your Kodi shortcuts. New Now report playback for music Support Emby tags for music videos Fix Studio icons for movies
Angelblue05 4130
Version 1.1.53 This should be a fun update! Please let us know how things are going. New: Add a visual warning when Kodi is incompatible with the add-on Add "ask to play trailers" option in the add-on settings > playback Include music video artists for grouping (requires local database reset to take effect) Fix: Fix for albums being added as singles (requires local database reset to take effect) Fix direct path during the initial setup. It should now be taken into account when syncing your content. Fix database locking if Kodi scan happens to run at the exact same time. Fix cover art setting (disabling) to be taken into account when adding artwork to Kodi. Edited October 24, 2015 by Angelblue05

Angelblue05 4130
Version 1.1.65 New beta release just in time for the holidays! The add-on went thru a refactor to improve speed and stability. The initial sync should take half the time it did previously. You will need to reset your database, but if all goes well, this should be the last time it's needed! (exception being switching between add-on and direct paths mode). So let's get to it, here is what changed: New: Home videos support Notification when new content is added, found in the add-on settings > advanced Skip delete confirmation option in the add-on settings > playback Add multi-episodes naming to content's title Network credentials moved to passwords.xml Additional visual logging and prompts Automatically create playlists after emby user views. Convenient to quickly create your home shortcuts! Renamed direct paths option to Playback Mode Addon | Native (direct paths) Added path verification during the initial sync for direct paths. You may get a prompt saying the path is invalid if Kodi can't access the file. If you added the network credentials during the initial setup, it's quite possible Kodi won't see your credentials until you restart Kodi. In this event, simply ignore the prompt and sync your content. Emby views changes are reflected instantly. If you rename the view, you can either restart Kodi to see the change, or in the webclient > user icon > settings > home settings and press save. Convert server query urls to {server}/emby/ for proxy Automatically try to use the fast sync server plugin and more I'm sure that I'm forgetting... Fix: Support strm when using Native paths (direct paths) Boxset updates - In the event your server doesn't notify the add-on correctly, you can simply press Save on the movie title contained in the boxset to force refresh the boxset. Music videos creating an additional entry when opening the info dialog Fix artwork cache - if you had weird looping happening during the initial sync because of the artwork caching, this is resolved. Please report any issues following this post, note the add-on logging as been bumped to Info by default. This should make it easier to report issues (as they will be captured in your log the first time around). http://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/17599-how-to-report-a-problem/ Let me know how everything goes! Angelblue05 4130
Version 1.1.68 Fix: Add option to limit items requested at once from server under the sync option tab in the add-on settings (by default it is set to 200). You can lower the number by 50, as necessary, if your server connection times out during the initial sync process. Fix artwork cache not working - If you are experiencing difficulties with fanart not changing in the movie library, you can temporarily disable extra fanart in the skin setting. This should allow static fanart to work until the issue is resolved. Angelblue05 4130
Version 1.1.76 Newly added/changed are home videos and photo library. They are both dynamic plugin entries. You can access them by launching the emby add-on. You can also create home shortcuts by pointing the action to Add-ons > Video add-ons > emby > Choose the dynamic plugin entry. New: Add music rating system Changed home videos approach to a dynamic plugin entry (requires a reset to remove existing home videos entries from the kodi database first). Add photo library as a dynamic plugin entry Add/Fix force transcode setting for 720p-1080p/HEVC-H265 formats Fix: Fix to incremental sync, caused by the server restarting (this fixes newly added content not appearing, watch status not syncing) Fix for image caching during the initial sync on rpi devices. If you had this issue, you can find the option in the add-on settings > sync options > Limit image cache import threads (You can start with 25 threads and lower as needed) Fix to audio/subtitles tracks (requires a repair, or reset) Edited January 16, 2016 by Angelblue05
Angelblue05 4130
Version 1.1.78 This is mostly an update to fix bugs that crept up in the past build. Post your Kodi log if you continue to experience issues following this update. Thanks everyone! How to report a problem: http://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/17599-how-to-report-a-problem/ New: Display gathering progression during the initial syncFix: Fix progress dialog not displaying for other add-ons Fix initial sync being stuck As a reminder, if your initial sync crashes, go to the sync option tab in the add-on settings and you can adjust the item retrieved at once option (by default it is set to 200). You can lower the number by 50, as necessary and restart Kodi to relaunch the initial sync. **We are aware the newly added music rating is creating a long incremental sync after the initial sync has completed. This is being looked into.
marcelveldt 736
Version 1.1.79 Further improvements to the music tags import, based on the feedback in the various forum discussions optional settings added: - import music song rating directly from files (default ON) --> this will scrape the song rating from your music files ID3 tags into the Kodi library. It will add some overhead to the initial scan (it takes longer to process the music files) but you will have your ratings visible within the kodi music library. - convert music song rating to emby (likes/favourites) --> when you enable this setting (it's off by default now), the ratings from your music will be converted to emby ratings (=like, dislike, favourite). Also the other way around, if you change the rating in emby (e.g. like a song), this will be updated into Kodi. The following conversion will apply: rating 0 = emby dislike rating 1,2 = emby neutral (no like, favourite or dislike) rating 3,4 = emby like rating 5 = emby favourite - allow rating in song files to be updated by kodi/emby --> when you enable this setting (it's off by default now), any changes you make to the rating of a song will be written to the song file itself. Warning! It's recommended that you enable this setting only on one of your kodi boxes to prevent multiple instances trying to write the same change to the file.
Angelblue05 4130
Version 1.1.80 New: Add refresh for video nodes. Launch the emby add-on > Refresh playlists/nodes Changing our transcode approach with subtitles. You will now select the subtitles, emby will extract the subtitles (unless extracted previously or it's an external subtitle), it will takes a few moment, then the subtitles is appended to the player. It should give a better outcome and allow playback to start, instead of asking Emby to burn the subtitles to the video (which resulted in failure to play 95% of the time). Fix: Fix for home videos (being unable to back out of the menu). Running refresh playlists/nodes will fix this.
