Maybe I've missed it but couldn't find it on this forum.

How do I setup GameBrowser-Clasic to use MAME and what is the correct folder structure?

Now I've a folder with all my Roms in zip format on one ROM folder. So it isn't possible to save metadata for it.

I think I've to made a folder with Game name and a dummy file in it but how does GB III know witch rom it must use?

Only found this is that the correct way?

So please take me by the hand so I can go further :D  :P

You don't need to use the dummy folder structure anymore. In regards to the actual roms, you can place each zip in it's own folder or you can place all the zips in one folder Both work.

Ok thanks for the quick answer, how does GB know witch game it is and were does it store the metadata when I use the second option with all romzips on one folder?

Thanks Luke and Redshirt now I can play with my huge map of games LOL

It will save all the metadata in the same folder, but prefixed with the rom name. Same convention as multiple movies in one folder.

is there an application or script/batch that can export my roms into folders? doing this manually would take an eternity.

If you haven't found such a program there's one called filestofolder that works great.
