DVBLink-TVMosaic Live TV Plugin

Recommended Posts

Hello Everyone,

Here you can find a description and change log for the DVBLink and TVMosaic Live TV plugin.

Prerequisites

  • TVMosaic version 1.0
  • DVBLink version 5.0 and above
  • DVBLink version 4 (not tested)

Information
- Pre and post padding is configured by DVBLink server
- Unfortunately it's impossible to get the tuners list from DVBLink API

- The plugin only works with IP address

- Please change the DVBLink server and port on the plugin configuration page

- Timeshift only works with indirect stream. The reason that I provided the option for indirect and direct stream it's because in the past Emby did not release the live stream.

If the option of indirect stream works correctly and closes your live TV stream you can use it.

Just new to Live TV, has anyone conduct scientific comparing between MP & DVB Link and which do you prefer and why , as I am contemplating either one as a back end.

Dvblink is paid for MP is free. But paying for dvblink gets you nothing more in terms of service than banging your head against a brick wall. It's only coz I have a headache already that I stick with dvblink

Dose it support analog tuner like Hauppauge Colossus, HD-PVR or HD-PVR 2

What about IR support with USB-UIRT?.

This is great news!! I've been waiting for DVBLink plugin... Doesn't seem to work with 4.6 though :(

I might try to upgrade, but worried it will mess with things as I know there were quite a few changes from 4 to 5.

When looking at the "Live TV" section in MBS, under tuners nothing is listed.

i have set the server address and port in the plugin settings and all reports ok in the live tv status. the only other clue i can see is that MBS reports my dvblink version as 5.1.0 but its not, its 5.0.0. i plan to upgrade to 5.1 tonight after tv has finished so i will report

I did it and nothing changes. I tried with 127.0.0.1, localhost and the local IP (192.168.1.97) and i tried as well both ports (8080 and 8100) but nothing changes, it simply doesn't work.

Thanks again :)
