Duplicate All listings over a certain number of items should have an alphabet slider on the right side.

I inherited about 800 GB of new music from an avid collector.  I have all this in its own sub-folder under the main folder: MUSIC>Michael's Music>(everything).  It is all organized properly: ARTIST>ALBUM>SONGS.  The easiest way to explore all this is using the MUSIC>FOLDER option.  However, scrolling through literally hundreds (maybe even thousands) of artists is quite time consuming.  Sometimes, when I open ARTIST>ALBUM>play song, then click the "<" to go back to the main listing, it jumps to the beginning of the list again - quite frustrating, especially as I get further down in the alphabet & have to scroll all the way to get back to where I was.  I haven't yet figured out why it usually takes me back to the place I was in the main list, but only sometimes randomly goes back to the beginning.  Any suggestions?

FEATURE REQUEST:

Some of the other listings in Emby have an alphabet bar on the right (like the movies listing - SS1), which allows the user to jump around in the list - very handy.  This is also available for Playlists, & Collections, and in MUSIC: Albums, Composers, Playlists, & Genres.  This feature is notably absent from MUSIC: Album Artists, Artists, Songs, Tags, & Folders (see SS 2).

Another place where this feature is absent, but would be quite useful is in "Add to Playlist" and "Add to Collection" (see SS 3 & 4).  Keep the "recent" option, but please add the alphabet slider.

You could set a threshold of a certain number of items in the list, where the alphabet slider is only showing or active when that threshold is exceeded.  I think you have a similar mechanism already active, as seen in the Playlist listing (SS 5).

Since this coding for this is already active in some parts of Emby, I am guessing that would not be overly burdensome to include it in other listing places where it is currently absent (at least I hope that is true).  Please consider this & hopefully implement it in your next build.  Much appreciated.

I agree it should be added to the 'add to playlist' and 'add to collection' menus; however all of the other places you mentioned DO have the alpha picker, you just have to set the sort order to 'title'. It's not displayed for the other sort options.
