how big is you your collection

Hey, I want to ask something. How big is your media collection when it comes to shows and movies?

I have a collection of around 1,500 movies and 77 TV shows. I don’t know if that’s a lot, but I’d like to know what other people have in their collections. I think it would be cool to see what others enjoy watching.

Down below, I’ve listed some of my media to show what I’ve collected so far. This is a collection I’ve spent the last few months working on. It hasn’t been simple, but I got it done, and I’m still working on expanding it.

If you could share some of your collections, it would be really cool!

While that does seem to be large it is actually a LOT smaller than some. I have almost 4500 movies and about 900 shows and my collection is dwarfed by several folks on here. 

As to what i watch it is everything from "The Thin Man Movies" to "Attack of the Killer Tomatoes" and TV shows from the original "One Day at a Time" to "The Mandalorian." I pretty much like watching what i am in the mood for and that covers a huge spectrum. 

I inherited most of the content but the more modern stuff I either bought or recorded. I have no idea what the collection would actually cost to replace but all my content is stored in a fire proof safe but I do not do much to insure backup as I have the originals for 95% of my content and the recorded part is mostly duplicated in storage as well. 

I have more content than i could ever watch and I am quite content. It woks well for me as I have outlived most of my family and friends and can no longer get about much. 
I have no concern that I will become bored even if my health makes me bed ridden in the future.

I do NOT share my library at all, I don't know anyone I like well enough to share with.
I may have the largest single person library of any here. I am not actually proud of my library's size but it is what it is and I never lack for entertainment and, except for sports, I never have to endure a commercial and that is minimized because the only sport I watch is soccer and I usually record the matches and it is quite easy to avoid commercials at the start and end and only a little harder to avoid the drivel at halftime.

I do not expect anyone to emulate me but i am quite content.
