darkassassin07 515 Posted October 12 Posted October 12 When adding media to a collection or a playlist; you're presented with a list of every collection/playlist on the server and have to manually scroll to find the one you want. With 4500 movies and rising, I have a lot of collections, making this quite cumbersome. Could a search bar be implemented on this menu?
GrimReaper 3746 Posted October 12 Posted October 12 (edited) Start typing collection name on your keyboard (basically same as search) and it'll take you there. There's already an open request for this or something functionally equivalent, you can join in and contribute to the existing discussion at: Edited October 12 by GrimReaper 1
darkassassin07 515 Posted October 12 Author Posted October 12 I'm just going to duplicate this as you did not let me reply. The ability to type into this menu is not available on mobile clients, both Emby for Android and the web app.
GrimReaper 3746 Posted October 12 Posted October 12 (edited) And how does that differ from this request, to which you were pointed in your first FR? Edited October 12 by GrimReaper
darkassassin07 515 Posted October 12 Author Posted October 12 I hadn't followed your link yet; I was in the middle of replying to your comment about this feature already existing and just as I clicked submit, you locked the thread. Give people opportunity to actually respond when you talk to them, don't just lock people out of their own conversation. It's rather infuriating.
GrimReaper 3746 Posted October 12 Posted October 12 You were advised that there's an already existing request for either same or equivalent feature and you were provided links where you can contribute - in order not to dilute (potential) support and keep the discussion focused. There was nothing more to be said there, hence it was locked. You are welcome to add your comments to the related topic. Thanks.
