Subtitles do not show up, if multiple languages are chosen

I am from Germany.

English audio is not preferred but a little bit possible, for subtitles english is great.

If I have foreign Audio (e.g. Japanese), I would like to use german, or if not available, english subs.

Therefore I select subtitle options like this:

If I do, one Series (German Audio, German forced subs) works perfect.

But Bartender does not. It has Japanese Audio and German as well as English subs, but it selects neither:

If I remove "English" from the preferred Sub languages, it correctly selects German. I would like to select both because I also have series with english subs only.

Is there any Option to fix this?
