Cannot login to Emby Connect after password reset

I use Emby connect to access various servers on my account. I reset my password and after resetting, it takes me to the forums. I cannot login to Emby connect on my android, google tv or Apple tv clients. I've reset the password several times but no luck.   I've turned vpns off to ensure all devices are showing the same internet provider. Any help would be appreciated because this is driving me crazy. Thanks.

Devs will have to comment as I get invalid username/password trying to use Connect.

Tried logging in via Emby Connect and have invalid username or password prompt.

Clicked "Forgot Password" and changed to another password and still not able to login.

I have the same issue. I bought a new tv and I'm trying to log in on it. It doesn't recognise my email/password, so I changed it and still got the same result. It asks for the original email that you used to create the account with (why that would be different, I have no idea) but when I go to to the pc that runs the emby server (that is logged in) there is no way to see any email or account details so you can't check what you are entering. The email on the forum appears to be what is requested. This works for the forum, but not the server.

Hi.  Have you actually setup Emby Connect?

If you are on the same network as the server, you don't really need to use Connect.  Just use the user and password you created on your server.

Did you retest since it was just fixed?

If you went to http://app.emby.media or https://app.emby.media depending on your setup can you log in?

Tengo el mismo problema, cuando quiero iniciar sesion con Emby Connect y poner el pin me pone datos incorrectos, y en el foro puedo entrar sin problemas.

Que podria hacer??

All we can do is wait while they look into it again.

Hi, we are looking into this. The workaround for now is to sign into your server without using Emby Connect. You can do this by clicking add server from the server selection screen, entering your server address, and then signing into it. Thanks guys.

Folks, we think we have this under control now.  It was a new security setting in the forum software that was wreaking havoc with Connect.

It should be good now again...

A new update of the forum software?  Maybe that's why the forum has been so much slower for me over the last 36 hours...

It seems like this problem has reared its ugly head again. I’m trying setup a new server just for music to play with CarPlay. I cannot sign into Emby Connect.  Changed my password multiple times and it takes me to the forums. Something I did (I’ve tried so many things) it actually asked me to sign into my existing server.

The new server shows up, but I cannot select it unless I’m on the same network. Frustrating.

Hi.  That sounds like Remote Setup is not completed properly for that server.  Have you confirmed that it is?
