Completed Show Director for movies directly in the overview (as a field)

Hi.

This is my first post in here, so I guess I'll start by saying thanks for developing a cool peice of media center software

Now to my feature request-

I wonder if it would be possible to add the director's name to the selectable fields in the overview as illustrated in my screendump below and thus have the name show up below each movie poster, just like the other fields one may have selected to be shown ?

I could really use Director in the Table > Show Fields Options if not in other views.

Adding director's names to the media poster info will add more complexity.  It is probable that every row will have all different director's names.  The library page will begin to look like a telephone book.

Consider making a collection for your favorite directors.  The collection will highlight all the director's work.  The order where a director's collection appears in your collection list can be adjusted by editing the sort field in the metadata for each collection.  Sort Collections by Title. Director's can appear at the beginning ( 0 director spielberg), or the end (z director speilberg) or under directors (director speilberg) and then title the collection the same (Director: Steven Spielberg).  I would think this method highlights directors better and users will like seeing a collection page more.

I'm not asking to add to any default view but add as an option in Table view only that can be turned on or off as the other 26. What you are describing is completely useless to me. I already have 1500 default collections. I don't want to add to that number. You DO realize I'm asking for TABLE view only?????

Could we have the option to show director name in the Primary view for movies, please?

Surely not a huge effort and thus not something that should take years to achieve, or am I missing something that makes this more difficult than one would think?
