But per that setting you may need to reevaluate.

That's very odd, I had all these set to never, just checked and all my folders were set to refresh every 60 days, just changed them all back so hopefully that'll make a difference.

So unfortunately that made no difference, so I uninstall the emby server off of my ex2 ultra, restarted it and then re installed emby, but I am still having the same problem.

Any idea how to fix this? Other than me deleting all the media folders and starting from scratch?

Well if you uninstalled and reinstalled I would expect the initial import to take some time.  But still comes back to server log as I will guess it the same as all other logs it is getting provider metadata per item.

So I thought the same thing, that once uninstalled I'd have to start over, but when I installed it back, everything was the same.

I guess uninstall methods have options as Emby program folder is usually maintained so an uninstall only clears system folder unless told otherwise.

But does your server log show getting metadata from provider as previous mentioned?

There was no option to uninstall everything, just basic uninstall, and can't seem to access the root folder to delete that so I can start from scratch

And as for the metadata provider, I'm not sure, I don't quite now what I'm looking at with those logs

Sorry I don't know these platforms but I guess similar to Synology as you have to ssh in to delete the folders.

But you can post the server log and can tell you what is going on.

Can you please provide a new log example? Thanks.

So I've been changing settings for my  ex2ultra and somewhere along the way it has made the emby server start working again.

Library scan completes within 20/30 mins and all new media is detected and metadata is collected as well
