Hello, with the M3UTUNNER plugin, currently when I put an m3u link, sometimes it accepts it and other times it doesn't and when it accepts it I can see content for up to a few minutes and it throws me out giving me the following error:
Exception of type 'MediaBrowser.Common.Extensions.RemoteServiceUnavailableException' was thrown.

Sorry, I had to do it running, I deleted it and opened it correctly.

Hello good,
Having version 4.8.7.0 of emby everything was going well but suddenly on live TV I receive the following message when accessing a channel.

"Exception of type 'MediaBrowser.Common.Extensions.RemoteServiceUnavailableException' was thrown."

I tried it for several minutes and when I changed the M3U URL it told me that I couldn't access the TV provider but other times I didn't get the message. Later, when I finally didn't get any error message and I accessed the channels within a minute or so, I kicked you out of the channel with the previous message:

"Exception of type 'MediaBrowser.Common.Extensions.RemoteServiceUnavailableException' was thrown."

I updated to the latest stable version 4.8.8.0 and seeing that I was still having problems, I uploaded to the latest beta version 4.9.0.23-beta but it didn't solve anything.

I looked at the server logs but I didn't understand the error, because of my nerves and haste I didn't review it much.

I tried to uninstall/install the M3U plugin but it was still the same, so in the end I made a redirection to the emergency server with version 4.8.6.0 and in this version it has not failed so far so something from version 4.8.7.0 It must be giving me an error, I have several plugins to see the disk space, for user copies and some more for advanced options that in the end I never touch, the error has been from one moment to the next although it had already been running for days with 4.8. 7.0 so I rule out almost 100% that it could be the emby version. 

There are plugins that have been updated but none have been updated in a week so I don't understand anything.

I attach a log with the error message.

HI, why do you want to delete it? 

Anyway it looks like your TV provider is sending back a connection refused error. Can you find out why?

I thought I had created it in the wrong place hahaha,

No, the TV provider is not canceling anything because then it would cancel it in version 4.8.6.0, also to check if it was emby or network parameters, I checked with another application and it also worked.

Now performing an apt remove --purge emby-server and reinstalling emby 4.8.6.0, when adding the TV provider link it tells me that it could not be added but after 4 attempts it added it and it searched for the channels but When I press one it gives me an error "458"

Hi All,

I'm also on 4.8.8.0 and face the same issue. In my case, I have two identical channels. I'm using ErsatzTV, my two channels are KinderKanal (not working, first entries) and GalileoTV (last entry, working). Both channels use MPEG TS as stream, with the settings as depicted in the screenshot for the channel transcode. See log below. Did a channel/tuner refresh before tuning into the faulty channel.

Please let me know in case you should need further information.

Either the tuner/channel is not available or that's the wrong address.

@loreenteesimilar for you as the stream appears unavailable: 

MediaBrowser.Model.Net.HttpException: Connection refused (cf.xto8k.me:80)

But then why did he sometimes accept it and other times reject it? Besides, in other programs it did work for me. I asked my provider's administrator and he told me that on his part the connections were not being rejected.

I can't answer that question but I can definitely say it was refused at the time of that log.

It is happening again with version 4.8.6.0 and with a completely clean installation, I have spoken to my provider again and they tell me that it is not being rejected, I have tried Kodi and it doesn't give me any problems.
Could it be due to a public IP change? These days my provider has changed it for me on several occasions. Before you tell me about CGNAT, no, I'm not involved, it gives me a temporary fixed IP that changes every router reboot.

I have changed my provider's DNS and it has not given me any problems again, however, with the previous DNS it still works for me in Kodi and Android, Emby would not like something about that DNS hahaha

User-agents have always been an issue here.  And what works for one many not work for another.  And not two programs will likely use the same user-agents unless purposely done to disquise who/what is using it.
