Comment connecter Emby sur Nvidia Shield une fois téléchargé ???

Bonjour à tous.
Bon, débutante avec Emby sur Shield la fille 

Pour l'installation PC, création de la médiathèque et tout et tout, aucun souci.
Bien mieux que la concurrence pour moi.

Mais sur la Shield ??????? 
Ma médiathèque est sur un disque externe relié à la Shield en USB 3
J'ai installé Emby sans problème sur ladite Shield depuis le store mais MAINTENANT ?????????? 

Il me demande sans arrêt une adresse IP, un nom de serveur, ....
Je ne sais même pas à quoi a servi le code PIN que j'ai du enregistrer ....

Quelqu'un pour venir à mon secours ?

Hi.  That sounds like you installed the app.  Did you mean to install the server on the Shield or do you wish to access your other server with the app?

Je veux avoir Emby sur la Shield (vi, je préfère dire LA Shield que LE Shield   ) avec son affichage des médiathèques bien "fignolé" et personnalisé et lire simplement ma médiathèque sans que le PC qui a aussi Emby soit allumé.
Juste la Shield.
Je trouve Emby parfait pour mon utilisation, en tous cas sur PC.

Ma Shield est "ancienne" --> 2016
Kodi ne veut pas s'installer, Plex est ...bof depuis quelques temps.
Nova ne permet que très très peu de personnalisations (comme choisir l'ordre de tri par exemple super important pour moi ou modifier les métadonnées quand vraiment un film n'est pas trouvé).

PS : Désolée, ça fait 3 fois que j'essaie de modifier l'orthographe dans le message mais en vain

HI, yes you can install Emby Server onto the Shield as well as the Emby app for the Shield.

J'ai pris l'adresse IP que j'ai trouvée sur Emby SUR LE PC.
Il y en a une en HTTP ..... et l'autre en HTTPS
Port 8096
J'ai essayé les deux adresses (plusieurs fois)  sur la Shield mais il ne se passe rien 
Pas de message d'erreur, rien.
Comme si je n'écrivais rien sur l'écran.

Je suis désespérée car Emby est super.

Hi.  I would first confirm that you can access your server from a browser on another machine on your network.  You can use your phone or another PC on the same network as the server PC.  If that does not work, then the firewall on the server machine is probably blocking traffic.

Je ne comprend pas ce que vous me dites.
Dans ma maison, j'ai un PC, une box Internet, la Shield reliée à une télévision
J'ai installé Emby sur le PC (Windows)
Aucun problème, tout va très bien, ma médiathèque fonctionne parfaitement avec Emby. Le bonheur.
Je voudrais avoir la même présentation de médiathèque-Emby sur la Shield/TV.

L'application "Emby Android TV" s'est bien installée sur la Shield, rapidement.
Quand j'essaie de l'ouvrir, on me demande l'adresse IP du serveur (et le port 8096).
Comment faire ? Où se trouve cette adresse IP ? C'est quoi ? Ce n'est pas celle du PC (j'ai essayé).
Je veux que Emby sur Shield/TV fonctionne quand le PC est éteint.

Hi.  You will need to make sure the firewall on the server machine is allowing traffic to the server process.  It sounds like it isn't.  First, make sure your network on the server machine is set to "Private" and NOT "Public".  Then check the firewall rules.

When you first installed the server, you should have gotten a message from the Windows firewall saying that the server wanted access.  If you denied that, that would cause this problem.

I'm not a professional, just a girl who wanted to read her media library with a pretty and personalized presentation on the Shield TV, when PC/Windows is turned off
I don't understand anything you are saying about server machines, server processes, etc.
Emby is undoubtedly very good but reserved for professionals and geeks who are computer literate.
It's a shame for people like me. We can't take advantage of it.

Okay, that's a new piece of information.  You installed your server on your PC and your media library is on that PC.  So it must be running for you to access it from the Shield.

You could install the server on the Shield if that device can access your media via the file system but, honestly, that is even more complicated to setup than using the PC...

My Media library IS ON AN EXTERNAL HDD (USB 3) and this HDD is shared between the Shield and the PC with a switch.

I installed Emby on the PC/Windows. All is ok. Emby/PC reads perfectly the external HDD.

I wanted to install Emby on the Shield, to be able to read my media library (the external HDD in USB3) from the Shield. In this case;  the PC is turned off.

I guess you are missing the point about server / client.

Leave the PC turned on with you usb drive attached then use your shield as a client to watch media.

Moving the USB drive back and forth, will lead to trouble.

If you forget to insert the usb drive to your pc and start emby server, emby will see it as not available or deletet and start removing movies and tv shows etc. from you library.

And you will have to reimport the files.

I know the risks of hot switching my external disk between the PC and the shield.
I've already broken a disk like that 
Now I'm careful.

My problem: I want to be able to read my media library (which is on the external disk) from the Shield WITH EMBY.
I can do it with Nova or Kodi for example, but they don't suit me.

Emby is more enjoyable and customizable.

Is it possible ? What do I do now that I have downloaded the Emby Android TV app?????
