jordy 284 Posted February 7, 2024 Posted February 7, 2024 (edited) Hi, I'm away from home atm, and trying to watch LiveTV. All I get is this: Playback Error: No compatible streams are currently available. Please try again later or contact your system administrator for details. Should I be able to watch it remotely? I'm in an position where TV reception is very poor - signal is blocked by trees etc, but I have good Mobile phone reception. EDIT: I can playback everything else (TVEpisodes and Movies etc) just fine so data stream is good. Any Ideas? Thanks Paul Edited February 7, 2024 by jordy additional info

Luke 39843 Posted February 7, 2024 Posted February 7, 2024 Have you tried a different browser for comparison purposes?
Luke 39843 Posted February 7, 2024 Posted February 7, 2024 And also can you capture the contents of the browser debug console?

jordy 284 Posted February 7, 2024 Author Posted February 7, 2024 @Luke, after I took and uploaded the ss of the debug console, I noticed these additions to the report. they may shed more light...
Luke 39843 Posted February 7, 2024 Posted February 7, 2024 Can you restart the server, and without trying to play anything, are you able to get a recording going?
jordy 284 Posted February 7, 2024 Author Posted February 7, 2024 (edited) 34 minutes ago, Luke said: Can you restart the server, and without trying to play anything, are you able to get a recording going? I restarted the server. Started a live recording of The Chase, the red dot appeared in the guide. Opened the dashboard to check went to LiveTV/Recordings and it was blank, however LiveTV/Schedules shows the chase scheduled for whatever the current time is. The start time updates every minute. I cannot play the recording, get the same msg - no compatible streams... I am currently in a different time zone, Home(server) time +30mins. Would that be affecting things? embyserver(1).txt Edited February 7, 2024 by jordy added log
Luke 39843 Posted February 7, 2024 Posted February 7, 2024 Are you able to check the file system? is a recording file being created? Your log is showing lots of errors from the haupauuge tuner, as if it all tuner slots are in use and a stream can't be opened.

I rebooted the pc but it's still unavailable. I'll see if I can get my son to go in and check it out for me. Apologies thanks Paul
Luke 39843 Posted February 7, 2024 Posted February 7, 2024 OK please let us know what you find. Thanks.

The tuner had somehow become disconnected from the pc. Had my son reconnect it and it's now working as it should. Thanks for your help and my apologies for the wild goose chase. regards Paul 1
