Live TV Skip Forward and Back

Newbie to Emby and enjoying great work Emby team.  So sorry not sure if this is a feature request or an issue.

When I record live TV and then "watch from beginning" the skip forward button doesn't work on either Android or Samsung TVs.   

Emby Latest Beta Build

Synology - DSM 7.2

Region - Australia

Have also noticed that sometimes there is a 'watch from beginning' and sometimes there is not in the menu items when selected also.  

Any help is appreciated...

When you select a show that is being recorded and it is halfway through sometimes there is a button that says play from beginning.   is the same function that is there for a TV show in a library.

Hi.  In the Android TV app options, de-select "Allow direct stream of TS" and see if that helps.

For your Samsung TV, this is to be expected at this time. I asked about this in the Samsung forum and can confirm it is that, however working to be resolved "soon" with a larger initiative (I'll say it's an educated assumption).
