Hi,

Is there a way for Emby to always use the name of the local file and not the name it found thanks to the metadata?

For example, it happens that a file named XXXXX in the local files, is named with another name or in another language on Emby. So when I try to search for the file with the Emby search bar, it doesn't find it most of the time.

There is a way to improve the search bar or to prevent Emby from changing the file name.

No. Filenames are largely irrelevant UI-wise. You can either:

1) Download metadata in desired language (including titles)

2) Prefer embedded titles

3) Use Home Videos & Photos content type library where no metadata fetching is involved and items (mostly) preserve filenames

4) Edit title manually

Thanks, I'll try the different options.
