Starkadius 219 Posted October 15, 2014 Posted October 15, 2014 (edited) @@Aphid Can a filter list be added to the anime plug-in that would allow users to manually add the tags they wish to filter out when fetching the metadata? For example, Dragon Ball has some tags/genres that I dont particularly care for such as "Pantsu", "Nudity". I would like to still be able to fetch ALL the genres but at the same time filter out the ones that probably are not necessary to include. The feature could be a text box where the user has to type the tag/genre they wish to filter out. The other method is if the plug-in can fetch the list from anidb somehow then that could work too by allowing the user to move the tags from the ALLOWED box to the REMOVE box. Both methods would work fine but I imagine the first suggestion would be easier to implement. Why not just use the genre cleaner plugin for this? PurposelyCryptic 31 Posted November 3, 2014 Posted November 3, 2014 I would second this, assuming it is possible - I went through the entire tag list on AniDB a while back to see which ones would work as MB genres, and ended up with roughly 300 out of 2000+. There are an unbelievable number of character-anatomy and fetish tags, even in shounen-type shows (For example 'Bondage', ' BDSM', and the surprisingly common and ridiculously named 'Pussy-in-Face'). I'm not sure of how feasible it is on the technical side, but it would definitely be an incredibly helpful feature. On another note, the mere existence of the Anime fetcher is a god-send, and I can't express in words how helpful it continues to be for me; it literally does automatically what I must have spent days in total doing manually before I found it. It may actually be the single best part for me in the move from MB2 to MBS/MBT. So, uhm, thanks:) 1
