jamessouth 1 Posted December 20, 2022 Posted December 20, 2022 I have Emby Web 4.7.11.0 installed on a Synology 64bit NAS running DSM 7. The time zone on the server is set to match my location. UTC+10 embyserver.txt My TV Guide time indicators appear to indicate a UTC time zone. All channel guide information is incorrect. It appears that no adjustment to the correct time zone is happening. I was under the impression that Emby will adjust the information based upon the time zone of the host operating system. Is that not the case?
Luke 39319 Posted December 20, 2022 Posted December 20, 2022 Hi, where exactly do you think it is incorrect?
jamessouth 1 Posted December 20, 2022 Author Posted December 20, 2022 All guide information is out of sync with what is in the screen. The offset appears to match the time zone offset which suggests to me that no correction is being made.
Luke 39319 Posted December 20, 2022 Posted December 20, 2022 Can you please provide a specific example in emby server? Thanks.
jamessouth 1 Posted December 21, 2022 Author Posted December 21, 2022 No problem. So... Right now, the guide says there is a movie called Witness on BBC One. When actually it is a program called Homes Under the Hammer. The EPG XML Datetime for the incorrectly applied entry is the following. The date is 20221220234500 +0000 which when parsed (though it's clearly readable) matches the time from the external TV guide. I'm hoping this shows clearly that the guide dates are being incorrectly offset. 23:45 should be 09:45, not 19:45.
jamessouth 1 Posted December 21, 2022 Author Posted December 21, 2022 I just resaved the XML source details triggering a full refresh of the guide data and everything is now correct!! Maybe something fixed by proxy of recent updates?
