billxsand 1 Posted November 21, 2022 Posted November 21, 2022 Hello all, My request is an option in the settings to change the behavior of the OK button. Similar to SmartTubeNext, where you can change the button to Pause playback, Bring up UI, or BOTH Thank you and I appreciate your hard work
FrostByte 5211 Posted November 21, 2022 Posted November 21, 2022 Couldn't you do this with something like the Button Mapper app? I've remapped several of my keys like the Netflix key now starts Emby
billxsand 1 Posted November 21, 2022 Author Posted November 21, 2022 I have the exact same setup with button mapper going, but BM wouldn't really help my situation 1. not sure how you would even go about doing that 2. it would affect all apps outside of emby 3. as warned in button mapper, "remapping certain buttons can make navigation difficult, if you get stuck attach a USB mouse to your android TV to undo the changes" and I don't want to do that lol Thank you for the suggestion though 1

Is that still a problem?

There are two apps with very similar names, I use "Button Mapper" by flar2 It's a free and simple program which you could easily remove if you wished. There are some features which require you to purchase, but I only use it to reprogram the Netflix button and that's free. @Audiomixer just installed it a couple days ago and I believe it's working for him. Thank you, will try that app. Having those useless buttons on the remote is quite annoying so being able to use them for something would be awesome!
