version 3.2.77 doesn't have this problem. The new font introduced in 3.2.82 breaks it.

 

By the way, is there a chance that Emby will get custom font settings? It'd be much easier to handle such problems if we just had the ability to use alternative fonts

It is certainly possible, but we should still have a good out of box experience.

Can't I roll back to the previous version? 

It is difficult for Android users to use the app due to this update (Emby for Android 3.2.82)..

There's a problem. In Emby for Android 3.2.82, Korean subtitles appear as pictures (Above: Wrong , Below: Correct).

For example) "향기를 향수처럼" is right,  It comes out wrong as "ㅎ ㅑ ㅇ ㄱ ㅣ ㄹ ㅡ ㄹ ㅎ ㅑ ㅇ ㅅ ㅜ ㅊ ㅓ ㄹ ㅓ ㅁ" 

The letters don't come together, they come out separately.

Recently, a problem appeared in a version that included a font update(Maybe Android 3.2.82).

Please fix it quickly. Many Koreans are suffering from this problem.

감사합니다... 덕분에 수동으로 APK(3.2.77) 받아서 설치 했습니다. 

해결아닌 해결을 했네요.. 

언제 해결될지 몰라서 다운 그레이드 상태로 써야겠네요...

@Lukesince this issue was reported and you became aware of the problem, you released at least .90 and .92 and yet the problem still persists.  I am actually very disappointed by the lack of quick patch and will consider other apps than emby.

After changing to the GoNotoKurrent-Regular font file on the server, ass subtitles work well in the web browser environment.

However, in the Android app environment, the issue is not resolved. It seems to use the app's own font. I think you need to modify the font in the Android app as well. The iPad app worked fine without that issue.

It is normal to use the Galaxy Android system font.

The font used in the previous version of emby for Android 3.2.77, works fine.

Why is the previous font no longer available? It is very disappointing that this problem has taken so long..

The emby team still hasn't fixed the Korean subtitle output I've been using the life cycle since the beginning of emby, but it's gotten to the point where I can't use emby anymore The emby android app is still unreadable, the emby android tv app doesn't show subtitles at all, chromecast has a slow connection and can't play in the middle position The point is, it's become the worst player ever I knew it was pointless to wait any longer.
