softworkz 4534 Posted July 7, 2022 Posted July 7, 2022 On Arch Linux, Emby is using a basic ffmpeg by default. Now we have started publishing an Arch Linux package which allows easy installation of the same ffmpeg that is included in most of our other server installation packages and which is optimized for tone mapping, hardware acceleration and a number of other things in combination with Emby Server. Installation Download first to avoid signature issues, then install via pacman: wget https://mediabrowser.github.io/embytools/emby-ffmpeg-bin-2023_06_25-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.zst sudo pacman -U emby-ffmpeg-bin-2023_06_25-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.zst Please restart Emby server after installation: systemctl restart emby-server.service 2
