Przemek 46
Hello, Emby default recordings folder is `/var/lib/emby/data/livetv/recordings`. I want to change it to my mounted USB HDD `/mnt/Seagate/recordings`. I add permissions to default user 777 but when I choose that folder in livetv settings it's gone after I change site or tab in Emby and it record still in default folder. Regards. Solution Przemek 46 Posted March 12, 2022 Author Solution Share Posted March 12, 2022 (edited) OK, I fix permissions to `sudo chown emby:dietpi` on my server and now it works. That thread can be deleted. Regards. Edited March 12, 2022 by Przemek

Przemek 46
Hi @Luke I have another issues with recordings that I need help: 1. When I play on Android TV box quality is set to max - 80MB/s. I have to set manually to lower every time. 2. Also on Android TV box I cannot forward because it's loading and cannot resume recordings. I set to lower quality 240kb/s but still cannot forward. It stuck and loading. There's no problem on android smartphone. I Attached one on many ffmpeg logs. Edit. Today recordings works fine. I can resume and forward. But sill don't know how to set auto quality. Go into the main app settings (cog on home screen) and choose "Playback". Then choose the quality you want there.
