The attached example is ripped from DVD with Makemkv, resolution 720x576 interlaced. Any suggestions as to how to resolve this please?

Hi.  Please attach the server and ffmpeg logs from that playback.

Thanks for the responses. I think I may have solved my issue. Ticking the option 'deinterlace SD content' in the Fire TV app menu seems to make the lines go away. I will investigate further and report back.

Attached are some logs from this morning

ffmpeg-directstream-e424831d-7f57-4df1-8b57-5aa402313a8c_1.txt is playback with default settings, which produces diagonal green and red lines

ffmpeg-transcode-4d991eaf-b643-4a2f-9fce-1017fa4487c3_1.txt is playback of the same file with 'deinterlace SD content' enabled which removes the lines, but the resulting screen image seems to be degraded in image quality with a lot of compression artefacts

Hi @furiousp have you tried with the new 2.0.83 app update? How does that compare?

Hi Luke,

Apologies for the delayed response. I've attempted to update the FireStick app, but it will only show version: 2.079a. My Media server is Version 4.7.11.0. Attaching logs.

Thanks, Staff. Sideload completed of 2.0.84, problem persists-no change in performance. Updated logs attached.
