xnappo 1593 Posted September 14, 2014 Share Posted September 14, 2014 Hmm - well I understand what you are saying in principle - but making an entire new thread with multiple lines of duplicated code just to handle 'plot' seems a bit silly. Sure - we could separate out a bunch of code to be shared by multiple background update threads... But that is a major re-write. I propose I go ahead with im85288's suggestion for the 0.9.6 release, and further enhancements to coding style will be welcome afterwards.
